Singapore Airlines to increase its India capacity
The airlines will soon double its flight services from Bangalore by launching 10 weekly flights.

Singapore Airlines is eyeing to increase its capacity for India. The airlines will soon double its flight services from Bangalore by launching 10 weekly flights.

Singapore Airlines has already increased the capacity from Delhi by 10%. It will also enhance the capacity from Mumbai, which has been the top 20 route for the airline.

David Lim, General Manager India, Singapore Airlines, said, "We are expanding our capacity in India by adding more frequency and flight services. There has been a substantial increase in the number of passengers between India and Singapore. Singapore is also emerging as a favoured transit hub for Indians travelling to Australia, US and other geographies."

According to the Changi Airport Group's data, the passenger traffic between Singapore and India was 4.76 million in 2018, which is a 12% growth over the previous year.
