Edureka, a global e-learning platform for niche technologies, plans to expand its operations. It has more than 7,50,000 learners from all over the globe.
The Bengaluru-based company is eyeing to provide 2-3 new courses every 2-3 months and is evaluating other non-technology domains as well.
At present, Edureka offers online courses in the field of computer science, computer engineering, information technology and project management. It is covering technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, Analytics, Cloud and DevOps.
Ananda Rao Ladi, Chief Learning Officer of Edureka, said, “We are in the field of education technology wherein we offer courses through our interactive and live platform. Other than offering course material, we also have 24×7 teaching assistants available on our payroll along with having customised cloud labs so that learners can get practical learning of their subject. The courses are taught through industry experts and professors so that both the industry and academia aspect of learning are covered.”
Recently, Edureka collaborated with National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW), for introducing a Post Graduate Programme in AI and ML, which will be equipping professionals for the cutting-edge and industry-relevant technology.
“This is the first academic institution we have tied up with for a programme of this kind and going ahead we are in talks with 7-8 more institutes to offer similar and/or other courses for working professionals as well as students,” Ladi added.
