The Kettlery is the next favourite destination for tea-lovers

Ace shooter Abhinav Bindra's Shooting Star Sports LLP and Franchise India Brands has funded The Kettlery, an Ahmedabad-based specialty tea start-up.

Sandeep Kotecha, Founder, The Kettlery told Techcircle.in that CPK Food and Beverages Pvt. Ltd, which runs The Kettlery, has received 1 million USD in the seed round.

Overwhelmed by the response and a huge amount gathered by only a year and a half old startup, Kotecha said that the amount will be used for expansion and marketing campaigns.

Right now it has one outlet in Ahmedabad and is planning to open one more in Mumbai next month. It sells a wide variety of tea blends and accessories, both on online and offline platforms.

Kotecha said that he is planning to open almost a 100 stores within the next five years.
