Starkenn Sports Pvt Ltd, the Exclusive Distributor right holders of Taiwan-based Giant Bicycles in India and South Asia, intends to open 20 new franchise outlets in India in 2016.

The firm also eyes two more company-owned and operated stores in Delhi and Chandigarh by the next financial year. Additionally, it aims to start manufacturing its bicycles in India soon.

“Starkenn Sports is planning to open 20 new franchise outlets in the country. This serves as a perfect business plan for prospective franchisees as they will be able to offer Starkenn bikes in the premium segment for kids and adults, Giant in the super premium segment for cycling enthusiasts and professional cyclists and Liv in the super premium segment exclusively for women. Additionally, the franchisees will be well-equipped with all kind of bike accessories offered by over 20 internationally renowned brands, the franchisees will also get access to world class after sales service setup pioneered and mastered by Starkenn in India,” Pravin V Patil, MD and CEO, Starkenn, opens us with Franchise India about its franchise expansion plans for the coming year.

The brand currently has four company-owned and operated stores in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune. It has 104 dealers across 52 cities.
