Online community for women POPxo is set to launch its ecomm platform
Founded by Gill in 2014, POPxo boasts of a 17.5 million user base that engage in both English and Hindi.

Digital community for women, POPxo, is all set to launch its ecommerce platform to sell private label merchandise, said the company’s top executive. To appeal to the millennial audience, the content platform is foraying into selling products ranging from mugs and laptop bags to pouches and tote bags.

“Ecommerce is a natural step because we already have a large user base because of all the content we produce,” Priyanka Gill, chief executive of POPxo told ET. “We realise that there is no strong female millennial product brand in the market right now and that’s why we decided to use the information we have to create a collection of products with strong design language around it.”

Being referred to as POPxo Shop, the ecommerce vertical, which went live on Sunday, will showcase multiple designs across products such as phone covers, laptop sleeves, coffee mugs and cushion covers, among others.
