IHG to open 10 franchise hotels across Africa

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world's leading hotel companies, has entered into a Master Development Agreement with Aleph Hospitality to expand its presence across Africa.

Under this agreement, IHG will open ten franchise hotels across its portfolio of brands in midscale and upscale segments. IHG will be strengthening its footprint in Africa across key countries like Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria and Ghana.

The addition of new hotels will boost IHG's portfolio in the continent across six brands, including Crowne Plaza, voco, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites.
