Voylla Retail Pvt Ltd, which operates fashion jewellery and accessories e-tailer Voylla, is going to generate entrepreneurial opportunities as it eyes physical store expansion in India.

Voylla Retail Pvt Ltd, which operates fashion jewellery and accessories e-tailer Voylla, is going to generate entrepreneurial opportunities as it eyes physical store expansion in India.

The Jaipur-based brand, which has just raised $15 million in fresh funds from private equity firm Peepul Capital, intends to expand its retail network to 100 outlets. The firm will open 40 exclusive stores across the country while the remaining would consist of shop-in-shop and franchise stores.

The first one will be set up in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden in a month. The brand wants to open outlets in high streets and malls, and will integrate these stores with its online portal. The online company, which was founded in 2012, had raised close to Rs 13 crore before the current round from Pune-based Snow Leopard Technology Ventures and undisclosed angel investors.

Voylla is integrated with over 30 online marketplaces—25 in India, including Flipkart and Snapdeal—and the remaining in the US, the UK and the Middle East. It also has three shop-in-shop stores in India in partnership with Future Group’s Central Mall while its manufacturing unit is set up in Jaipur.
