Auto paint supplier Durr partners with Patvin, foraying into India

Durr, the German automotive painting and sealing company, has entered into a partnership with Patvin, Mumbai-based industrial solution provider, for offering automated painting solutions for two or three-wheelers and agricultural machinery for the Indian markets. With this partnership, Durr has forayed into India.

As part of this partnership, Durr will be supplying the application technology and Patvin will be integrating the products and systems at the customer. Through this, customers and integrator can meet their component needs from a single source. The companies’ focus here is on the five product categories including ‘pumping and fluid handling equipment’, ‘conventional application technology (spray guns)’, ‘two-component systems’, ‘solutions for electrostatic application’, and “paint robots/ paint machines’.

Both the companies further intend to strengthen cooperation for other product areas like paint supply systems.

Holger Beiersdorfer, Head of the Industrial Products Division at Durr Systems AG in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Germany), said, “Our customers from the target industries can purchase both individual products and standardized application systems via our constantly growing distribution network.”
