Vmoto signs deal with Ducati to introduce two-wheeler electric vehicles

Vmoto International Limited, a subsidiary of Vmoto Limited, has signed an agreement with Ducati Motor, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, for launching two-wheeler electric vehicles CUX special Ducati edition under the licence.

As part of the deal, Vmoto will be supplying and releasing 2-wheel electric vehicles CUX bearing the Ducati brand and label, to be sold as official products under the licence of Ducati.

Vmoto will be promoting the CUX special Ducati edition of 2-wheel electric vehicles with sales and marketing activities, with the support of Ducati. The two-wheel electric vehicles CUX special Ducati edition will be available until 31 December 2020. It is expected to strongly contribute to sales growth in FY2019 and FY2020.

Charles Chen, Managing Director of Vmoto, said, “The deal will allow Ducati’s fans to have the opportunity to access premium and high quality two-wheel electric vehicles supplied by Vmoto and create more confidence to Vmoto’s expanding distributors especially in Europe and further grow Vmoto’s product awareness in these markets. The release of these premium, limited-edition two-wheel electric vehicles will command higher pricing and profit margins and are expected to contribute to sales growth over the next two financial years.”
