Two-Day India EV Show To Begin On December 2 In Mumbai
The India EV Show is being held in association with Network 18 Lokmat and the show is likely to be graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Sambhaji Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The two-day Electric Vehicle Show is all set to begin in Mumbai from December 2 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Nesco. The Show is expected to be graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Sambhaji Shinde who will be the chief guest of the show.

The Show is being held in association with Network 18 Lokmat. This show will bring together the industry’s most influential minds to share their insights and success, discuss the challenges and opportunities of a sustainable future, and show attendees how their organisations can help accelerate the transition to a cleaner, less polluting form of transport.

Through large exhibits, keynotes, and hands-on workshops the show will engage the energy sector on topics that include new technologies that can impact energy efficiency; carbon reduction strategies; cities of the future; advancing infrastructure for electric vehicles; renewable energy resources for charging electric vehicles; financing strategies for organisations leading the way to a less polluting form of transport.

The two-day show will consist various sessions on varied topics where prominent companies’ representatives will discuss on the issues related to the electric vehicle sector in the country.

Following are the few session which will be witnessed by the attendees of the show.

Accelerating India's EV Adoption, Investment Opportunities In EV Sector, Making EV For Everyone, Consumer Financing For EVs: Opportunities And Concerns, Pre-Owned EV Market: Big Business, Bigger Opportunities and How Electric Vehicles Can See Faster Commercial Adoption among others.

In these sessions prominent industrialist will discuss about measures to accelerate the use of Electric Trucks & Buses, Charged Up over Medium Duty Charging, Challenges from the MD & HD electric vehicles, charging systems, the grid, and the people using them.

They will throw light on “Battery recycling forecasts for 2030”, Building infrastructure for Fast charging and longer battery cycle life.

The discussion in this huge event will be around various aspects of the EV ecosystem consisting going from aspiration to execution to delivery, Driving the growth of the Indian EV Ecosystem with innovation, Creating more awareness on environmental impact of fossil fuels and designing and developing new innovative and affordable EV technologies.

The major participants in the event include industry veterans Zypp Electric, LML, Niti Ayog, Emote Electric among others.

Earlier, the India’s largest show was held in Delhi in March this year which was graced by the presence of Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (MSME).

The event was power packed with the industry leaders and buck stoppers all geared to debate, discuss and strategize the road map and the future of Electric Vehicle in India. The first panel was ‘Will India be Atmanirbhar Bharat in Electric Vehicle by 2030?’ The panel spoke on India’s EV revolution, the numbers by 2030, 30% private cars 70% commercial vehicles 40% buses and 80% two-wheeler, the adoption and promotion and the present numbers that being 8.7 lakh EVs registered across states.
