Turtle eyeing overseas expansion
Turtle, an Indian menswear brand is eyeing expansion in the lucrative Middle East market by the end of the year via franchise route.
Currently, the company is operating 55 exclusive branded outlets and Turtle merchandise in 1,600 multi-branded outlets (MBOs) located in 550 cities of the country. The company has plans to mark its presence internationally by setting up exclusive Turtle stores in the Middle East and Italy.The company also plans to add 30 more exclusive showrooms to its existing 55 in India, adding 500 more points of sale in MBOs from the current 1,800. The Turtle franchise store generally size from 800-1,000sq. ft carpet area while the flagship stores can go up to 1,800 sq. ft along with an investment of Rs 25-35 lakh depending upon the size of the store.
