Future India- Science and Technology

India is among the fastest developing country globally that provides numerous job and business opportunities. From job to business perspective, science and technology are believed to play an essential role in transforming the future India that could be fruitful to every individual residing in the country.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister, Science & Technology shares, “We are probably enjoying the ‘Golden period’ in Indian science under Modi's guidance. With all that's happening in the different areas of science today, we are comparable to the best in the world.”

The Contribution of Scientists for a Modern India

Achieving something big from minimal resources and vision was a myth that Indian scientists proved wrong. Indian scientists have a major role in transforming the old India into a modern one.

Modi elaborates, “The ISC has reached a legacy, including some of India’s finest minds like Acharya, JC Bose, CV Raman, Meghnad Saha, and SN Bose that have been associated with it. During the time of maximum struggle, these people, with minimum resources and their vision helped the people of this country. We are still learning from their creativity and commitment.”

Increased Focus on Startups

“As we boost our discovery science ecosystem, we must also focus on innovation and startups. Our government had launched the Atal innovation mission to promote innovation among our scientists," added Modi.

India is no longer far away from being considered as the ‘Startup Nation’ globally. The business industry is witnessing a number of new startups that are emerging in order to cater something new to the customers.

He further adds, “I wish to add 'Jai anusandhan', therefore the slogan now becomes Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan.”

Utilizing Technology for Improving various Sectors

India is all ready to welcome technologies that are capable of solving the nation’s issue, eliminating major challenges from various Indian sectors.

Modi added, “Bringing big data, AI and blockchain to solve India's biggest challenges - healthcare, agriculture, and developmental needs can only be done by our scientists and engineers."
