The Body Shop opens its first store in Lucknow

The original, natural and ethical beauty brand, The Body Shop launched its first store in the city of Nawabs – Lucknow. Spread over an area of 502 sq. ft the franchised outlet of The Body Shop is located in the heart of the city at the multiplex Sahara Ganj mall. Quest Retail Pvt. Ltd, the master franchisee for The Body Shop in India is part of The Planet Retail group, who are well known retailers of beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands in India.

The latest store will offer an array of products across skin care, bath and body, well being, fragrance, hair, make-up and many more, to suit and complement all skin and body types.

As part of store-wide celebrations during this festive month, there will be special launch promotions in the store, so customers can experience the best of The Body Shop products for a limited time period. As told to Beny Sachdeva of FIHL by Shriti Malhotra, General Manager, The Body Shop India, “Indians love The Body Shop for its natural appeal and we are now entering tier II cities to target a larger base of population who are well travelled and well informed. Many of our customers come from these tier II cities to buy products that have become part of their daily needs. To offer them comfort of buying from their local market we are now opening stores in these cities.”
