Silicon Valley-based theCoderSchool expanding to New Jersey

Silicon Valley-based theCoderSchool, whose motto is “Learn to code. Change the world.”, is expanding into New Jersey. The coding school is set to launch a location in Short Hills, N.J.

The new school will be joining joins two other locations in the area, including Bayside, NY, which unveiled last month, and Commack, NY, which will open next month. Noreen Kazi, who also owns theCoderSchool’s Syosset and Roslyn, NY locations, are operating all three locations.

Kazi said, “I’m thrilled to build on the success of our three existing locations. Learning how to program computers is an incredibly valuable skill, and one that’s demand is steadily increasing exponentially in every industry. Through theCoderSchool’s project-based approach, we strive to improve kids’ logic, ideation and creative thinking skills, while preparing them for a successful future.”

Nisha Bhalla, Senior Advisor for both the Syosset and Roslyn locations, will also be continuing her partnership with Kazi on the three new locations.

Bhalla stated, “I couldn’t be more excited to continue to partner and work with Noreen. We’ve built a great partnership over the years in Syosset and Roslyn, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch our vision continue to grow. We’ve received such a positive response from the communities we are already in and hope to bring the same positivity towards learning about technology in our three new communities.”

Founded in 2014, theCoderSchool is a Silicon Valley-based children’s enterprise franchise, offering computer programming lessons to children ages 7 to 18.
