Around 100+ aspiring businessmen and investors will attend the conclave and 3500 plus prospective franchises and investors are expected to visit the expo that will showcase different brands representing different industries such as education, fitness, fashion, food and beverage, wellness, real estate, technology, and services.

H.E. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal states, “I am happy to note that M/s Franchise India is bringing a delegation of Indian iconic brands to Nepal for the upcoming Indo- Nepal Franchise and Investment Summit.

"Nepal, with an increasingly advanced level of consumption aspirations and ever globalizing population, offers to be an ideal opportunity for the Indian brands to enter through franchise or investment routes.

"Considering the high level of people to people exchanges between the two countries, Indian brands enjoy high visibility and recall in Nepal and, therefore, Nepal offers to be an ideal market for them.

"The Embassy of India in Kathmandu extends a warm welcome to the Indian business delegation and stands to offer all possible facilitation.”

Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FNCCI), the co-organiser of the conclave states, "The event will primarily focus on building relations between India and Nepal through entrepreneurship development which entertains in-depth knowledge regarding investment, brand concept and business operations."

"The expo will be a premier exhibition showcasing a myriad mix of international and national brands from different industries outlining their brand concept and business operations, focusing on master franchising or unit franchise."

Bhawani Rana, President of FNCCI “With this initiation FNCCI expects to introduce new investment opportunities to Nepalese market for those who are interested to establish their venture and invest in business opportunities. One of the core areas of this event is to focus on networking between investors of Nepal and India. This will definitely explore new business through the exchange of information and collaboration under one roof with joint efforts.

“At the other end of the spectrum, FNCCI is also targeting to support Nepalese businesses to establish and maintain an international network that will facilitate their gateway to the international market."
