The eyes are one of the most sensitive parts of the body that are exposed to the outer world. They help us to visualise and get a real-time experience of the world. They also give proper shape and symmetry to the human face. Also, it depends on you that how you use them for expressing emotions. Eyes help us to see things with improved brain focus. Storage and transfer of visual details become easy due to eyes. For instance; it is impossible to draw the exact things without eyes?

Coronavirus outbreak has changed human life drastically. Work from home and online meetings have become a new normal. Except for some of us, we all started using online portals for meetings and still we keep staring at the computer or mobile screen for several hours. Work from home and video calls gave us the liberty to work without going anywhere, but affected our eyes negatively.

Eyes strains, dry eyes and powered vision became some normal diseases in ophthalmology. People are continuously reporting these diseases which changed the industry last few years. In this article, we will try to understand what changes did optic industry experienced contemporarily.

Over the past ten years, global ophthalmology witnessed an impressive growth spurt. Some 55 million ophthalmologists were performing hundreds of thousands of cataract surgeries every year, with an average of 2 ophthalmologists per capita in developing countries completing around 40,000 surgeries each year on patients.

Laser eye treatment

Though it may not be obvious to everyone, your eyes are an integral part of your beauty. They help you see and judge distances, focus on visual details, and recognize colour. The cataract industry has changed drastically in recent years. The patient load capacity (which is how much treatment you can receive in one visit) has gone up, which means there are fewer patients available for each visit. Brands launched cataract apps for iOS and Android phones that have created clusters of patients closer together, which means opticians can serve more patients with faster visits.

Growing demands has obligated consumers to go for easy and reliable alternatives. Several Products are used at home for treating various eye problems been a proliferation in demand. Interestingly, the use of these products has increased dramatically over the past few years. This shows us that people are aware of the importance of keeping their eyes healthy and moist at home.
