The season of placement has started at IIT’s in India where students have been grabbing job offers left and right with IIT Kharagpur recording the fastest ever to reach 1000 job offers till date.
The various IIT’s in India is welcoming the top-notch companies from India and across the globe for recruiting the brightest talents in India. December 1 was the first day of placement where IIT Kharagpur broke all the records by securing the fastest 100 job recruitments till date.
The first phase of placement at IIT Kharagpur will go till December 12 and will resume again from January 1st week, continuing till mid-April 2019.
GP Raja Sekhar, CDC Chairman & Professor, IIT Kharagpur says, “This has been the fastest 1000 till date, typically it takes a little more than a week.”
He explained that the dynamic content of the IIT curriculum is equipping the students with necessary technical skills that could result in fruitful results in their career.
"All the team members along with the staff of the Career Development Center have been working relentlessly since last month ensuring the best experience for recruiters and students," Sekhar added.
