IHG's upscale brand Voco to be soon unveiled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed an agreement with Nouh Mohamad Nouh and Partners Limited to launch Voco Jeddah Gate in Saudi Arabia. This development follows the company’s recent announcement of the signing of the world’s largest Voco in Makkah.
The latest agreement marks the third signing in of IHG’s upscale brand Voco in Saudi Arabia within nine months.
Voco Jeddah Gate will likely open in January 2021. The 681-key hotel will be IHG’s sixth hotel in Jeddah and the fifth brand from the IHG family. It will be offering MICE facilities, including four meeting rooms to accommodate up to 600 guests and two dining options.
Pascal Gauvin, Managing Director, IHG India, Middle East & Africa, said, “Voco has been received extremely well in Saudi Arabia and we are encouraged with the confidence that our owners and partners have shown in the brand.”

Presently, IHG is operating 92 hotels across seven brands in the Middle East, including InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Voco and Six Senses. The company further has 38 hotels in the development pipeline, due to launch within the next three to five years.
