Great Learning launches PG Program in Electric Vehicle Designing

Great Learning, a BYJU’s company, has announced the launch of a new Post Graduate programme, in Electric Vehicle Design, in collaboration with Great Lakes Executive Learning. With the growing popularity of electric vehicles, this programme is said to make students industry ready for the future boom in Electric Vehicle industry. This eight month programme, developed by the veterans of the EV industry, will provide engineering graduates with in-demand electric vehicle design abilities. Dedicated interview preparation and career coaching will also be provided to them so that they can begin their high-growth career in the EV business with India's leading EV companies.

According to recent reports, the Indian EV market will grow over ten times, reaching USD 15 billion by 2027, producing over 7.5 lakh new employment along the way. This curriculum is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the techniques and technology that govern electric vehicle design. It prepares them for high-paying positions like as Design Engineer, Model-Based Definition (MBD) Engineer, Testing Engineer, and Power Electronics Engineer.

The platforms has said that teaching students with specifically designed content, hands-on projects, case studies, will assist learners in developing proficiency in relevant EV design frameworks, tools, and technologies. Learners will proceed through the programme by designing and simulating specific components such as batteries, power converters, and motors. They will also be introduced to industry-relevant programming languages and technologies such as Embedded C, MATLAB, Simulink, and Ansys. Learning by doing emphasises the development of a solid project portfolio, which is crucial for success in job applications and interviews.
