43rd edition of FRO India's national Franchise & Retail Opportunity held on October 15-16, 2011 at Sun N Sand Hotel in Pune concludes successfully. The show was presented by Franchise India, and Indian Franchise Association (IFA) and supported by Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. Chandrakant Salunkhe, President, SME Chamber of Conference; Ashwini Malhotra, Chairman CII Pune, Managing Director - Weikfield Food; Shri Diwakar Keskar, Regional Officer, MCED, Pune along with Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India and Ashna G. Sharan, CEO Franchise India Exhibitions inaugurated the show.
The two day event encompasses participation of 1,894 business investors. Over 75 brands from across sectors exhibited at the 43rd FRO.
The show also boast a conference by the name of Startup Summit 2011, which featured the perfect blend of business start-up ideas, network with the business leaders, industry insiders and the interested investors.Commenting on the show, Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India, states: “FRO Pune boasts serious business opportunities in retail and service sector. Through this platform, we aim to identify, foster and commercialise innovative business start-up ideas. Franchising fraternity in India is scaling up at the rate of 30-35 per cent annually and Franchise India always assists the brands and investors to make an informed business decision.”
