eBikeGo Plans to Setup Manufacturing Units for its Muvi and Velocipedo Brands
According to a statement by company it is actively engaging with all of the main last-mile delivery providers and wants to target 2 percent of the domestic electric two-wheeler market with a fleet of 200,000 bikes in 100 locations across the country.

eBikeGo, an electric bike startup, announced that it will establish a manufacturing facility for its Muvi and Velocipedo electric vehicle brands through its subsidiary Vajram Electric. According to eBikeGo, the facility will develop powertrains as well as multiple product portfolios for both domestic and foreign markets.

According to the company, Vajram Electric is a specific business unit developed to meet the production needs of eBikeGo. The company also stated last year that it had acquired production and marketing rights for the European e-scooter Muvi, as well as manufacturing rights for the electric trike Velocipado, from the Spanish automobile company Tarrot. Vajram will create an integrated Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem using cutting-edge technology and business analytics. According to the company, it will construct a two-wheeler power train that will allow for a range of vehicle designs. eBikeGo further stated that its subsidiary firm will build a variety of future vehicle product portfolios for both Indian and worldwide markets.

Founder and CEO of eBikeGo, Irfan Khan said that they intend to be India's first electric mobility firm, with an integrated EV ecosystem. There is a strong demand of quality EV production unit, and Vajram Electric is the first and most important step of the company toward accomplishing this aim. Vajram Electric will provide modular, purpose-built electric vehicles to address the future of transportation. According to the corporation, a contract manufacturing facility will be able to cut costs while also working on low volume shifts for its product pipeline for various use cases by optimising platform sharing.

Currently, eBikeGo operates in seven locations with its more than 2,500 electric vehicle rental units. According to a statement by company it is actively engaging with all of the main last-mile delivery providers and wants to target 2 percent of the domestic electric two-wheeler market with a fleet of 200,000 bikes in 100 locations across the country.
