eBikeGo launches sanitization delivery box to boost Indian food delivery ecosystem

Covid -19 has put the world at standstill. It has affected almost every sector. Food delivery is one of the significant areas that has been enormously affected by the lockdown. The food delivery ecosystem became almost zero and many delivery executives lost their jobs and positions. People stopped ordering food online because of lost confidence due to less security and cleanliness issues. 

In response to this market reality, eBikeGo, India’s leading EV-based startup launches a completely risk-free sanitization delivery box ‘SpectraClean’ using the UV-C disinfection technology recently This delivery box can reduce SARS COV-2 by 99% in just a few seconds. The company created this solution to restore faith in the delivery ecosystem, and offer sanitized delivery service to its customers across India. It is 100% Made in India and satisfies the vision of our PM’s #Vocal4Local program. 

Purely an indigenous design conceptualized and created by the house of eBikeGo as a response to the Covid lockdown when the food delivery industry took a hit as a fallout of customer fear around sanitization of their food orders across various food delivery platforms.

eBikeGo currently does 10,000 deliveries per day through their various delivery partners such as Amazon, Swiggy, Zomato, Big Basket, etc. in food, grocery, e-commerce, hyperlocal and other customers in India. It will offer this product to all its customers, merchants, and institutions that constitute the large delivery ecosystem in the country. In the coming days, these UV-C disinfection delivery boxes will be installed in eBikeGo electric scooters used for deliveries. The electricity will run from the battery of the individual bikes and the delivery executives will safely open these boxes with the IoT enabled app of eBikeGo.

SpectraClean is extremely effective against all micro-organisms. It has a custom control framework designed around the concept of a single touchpoint to minimise contact while giving an intuitive user experience. It has an irradiance configuration endorsed with optical proliferation programming and pillar following ensuring uniform 360 degrees of light on all things with immaterial shadowing. Built with durable stainless steel mirror finish body with aluminum cavity and unitouch point operation. 

SpectraClean has an effective irradiation capacity of over 14 mJ/cm2 through 44W UV-C Lamp Power which translates to peace of mind in just 1 minute. Designed to integrate cleanly with existing built-in kitchen appliances via an adapter plate without any modifications necessary. SpectraClean will be initially available with a capacity of 55 litres for food home deliveries and thereafter in smaller sizes for offices, co-work spaces, shops, etc. alongside individual customers all across the country.

In the future course, eBikeGo's SpectraClean will be a part of a range of accessories that are being conceptualized to solve the gaps and pain points of the delivery ecosystem and promises to lead the way to solutions that restore the wellbeing of end-users.
