Digital Education is the Need of the Hour
Since e-learning and ed-tech are among the latest and hottest trends in the Indian education sector, the future of the industry as a whole looks promising.

E-learning and ed-tech segments are emerging as a boon for educators that are looking to redefine the Indian education system with new opportunities and technology. This transformation is believed to be fruitful, enhancing/maintaining the quality of education along with breaking the geographical barriers for acquiring quality education.

Since e-learning and ed-tech are among the latest and hottest trends in the Indian education sector, the future of the industry as a whole looks promising. More educators will be joining this sector for improving the quality of education in India through the proper usage of technology.

Earlier, when technology wasn’t a part of the education industry, paper, notebooks, markers, chalks, and blackboards were supposed to be the only available education tools for offering or gaining education.

But, the scenario has changed for the better and is still continuing to transform. With the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) and technology, education has become more effective, easy, and simple where one could learn and get knowledge about almost anything while sitting at home.

In an interaction with Franchise India, Anuj Tiwari, CEO, Aakash Digital talks about the growing demand of ed-tech firms in India and the lucrative opportunities that e-learning is generating in the modern time.

The Era of Innovative Content & Technology

Content nowadays are often given a technological touch, which the new-age learners and consumers enjoy and demands at the same time. The prime motive of most of the ed-tech brands is to break the demographic barrier for making education easy and accessible to people residing in all major cities as well as tier 2, and 3 cities.

Anuj says, "The good and long 30 years legacy of Aakash Institute has been provided with the modern-day touch, giving birth to Aakash Digital which is an e-learning platform. Through Aakash Digital, we are providing easy access to more than 1100 recorded video lectures on complete NEET/JEE syllabus. Additionally, students are exposed to 25+ online practice tests which come along the modular analysis.

“We have also introduced Aakash iTutor, an innovative and specially designed tool for the NEET/JEE aspirants who are ready for their second innings. This tool will help the students in converting their weaknesses into strengths by through ‘Ask an Expert’ feature which is available 24/7. Regular online practice tests further help you strengthen your preparation for medical entrance exams.”

Through such e-learning platforms, educators could target a huge mass that are looking out for good and quality education without worrying about the demographic factor."

Balancing the Traditional and Technology World

The quality of education is the utmost factor behind the success or failure of any educational organisation. Ever since technology has heavily penetrated the education industry, educators are looking out for ways to utilise technology efficiently, allowing it to benefit their brands in terms of enhancing the services.

But while doing the same, many times, educators get carried away with technology to such extent that they eventually don't keep their focus on the quality of education. This is why most of the e-learning and ed-tech brands fail, post their operation.

"Our prime motive as a digital education brand is to ensure that the right kind of balance is maintained when it's about amalgamating education with technology. It's all about providing education services with the help of the internet, without compromising on the quality of education," adds Anuj.
